Cambodia videos

As I cycled through southern Cambodia on my world cycle tour I recorded videos of anything that I saw that caught my eye.  I hope that these will give you a snapshot of life within the countries that I will have been privileged enough to cycle through.

Please scroll down to watch individual videos or visit my Youtube channel where you will find all of the videos from my cycle around the world.

Cambodian Village Life – Cambodia (13 minutes)

An amazing experience in a Kampong Chrey.  Thank you Connor, Mok, mum, dad and baby Richard for inviting me into your village and home for 1 day.  This experience and memories of traditional Cambodian life will last with me forever.

Saving The Snake – Cambodia (3 minutes)

It was raining so hard that this poor snake couldn’t get across the road.  To save it from a certain death under the wheels of a truck I decided to stop and save it.  My good deed for the day.

Fields of Rice – Cambodia (2 minutes)

Hand fishing For Mudfish – Cambodia (2 minutes)

It really is amazing the sites you see when cycling. The girls were catching mudfish and crabs in a flooded field by hand. How they got there in the first place I have no idea.

Windbreak – Cambodia (1 minute)

The winds have been battering me since I left Ho Chi Minh City. Definitely heading in the wrong direction. Anything that blocks the wind is good news in my book.

A communal celebration – Cambodia (6 minutes)

Whilst I was cycling down a small country road a monk stopped me and asked if I would like some food. Never one to pass up an experience, or free food, I parked my bike and joined the party.

Hello – Cambodia (3 minutes)

This short video will give you some idea of the amount of times I say hello in a day.  I have no idea why they all shout hello but their parents look so proud when the children shout the only 3 English phrases they know.

Coconut Rustlers – Cambodia (3 minutes)

I had a new Cambodian peloton for a few km’s. Not sure what they were doing but it seemed like they were coconut rustlers. If anybody knows can they let me know?
