In July 2017 after I finished my world cycle ride I moved to Bogota, Colombia to live and work.  While living there I would spend part of my holidays cycling.

In December 2017 I spent 2 weeks cycling through Colombia and below is the route I took

Day 15 – Rivera to Neiva via Tatacoa Desert 115km

Day 14 Garzon to Rivera 102 km

Day 13 – San Augustin to Garzon 108km

Day 12 Popayan to San Agustin 135km

Day 10 Santander to Popayan 85km

Day 9 Cali to Santander 46km

Day 8 Buga to Cali 78km

Day 7 Tapado to Buga 108 km

Day 6 -Salento to Tapado 50km

Day 4 Cajamarca to Salento 67km

Day 3 Near Ibague to Cajamarca

Day 2 La Mesa to near Ibague 118km

Day 1 Bogota to La Mesa 78km

 Ride 2 – The world’s highest elevation gain

In November 2017 myself and 3 friends cycled Alto Las Letras which is which is the world’s highest elevation gain – 3500m of climbing from the town of Mariquita to the summit in just 77km.  I then descended back down !!!
