This section of my cycle starts and ends with a few days camping in the beautiful Thai National Parks. In Thailand there are 127 National Parks with tigers, elephants, leopards, gaurs, and bears roaming free.
This tour cycle lark is definitely turning into my schizophrenic friend – certain days are happy go lucky whilst others are manic days where the only goal is gobbling up km after km.
The crazy adventures continue – a motorcycle escort, the green lung, the helpful monk, weird fish, monkey business, giant lilies, my first night under canvas and all wrapped up in a salty affair. It could only happen to a cyclist.
I had crossed from Cambodia into Thailand the previous night and had cycled until it got dark before finding somewhere to sleep. The place that I found had a battered washing machine which they let me use for free.
